Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Last Updated: July 21, 2026

Welcome to Coastal Standards. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.coastalstandards.com (the "Site") and the products and services offered by Coastal Standards ("we," "our," or "us"), including custom DTF transfers, DTF gang sheets, DTF Singles, screen printing, embroidery, PVC patches, stickers, banners, custom apparel, blank apparel, and all related tools and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. Eligibility

By using the Site and Services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, organization, or government entity, you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
  • All information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete.

2. Account Registration and Security

2.1 Account Creation

To place orders, use builder tools, or access certain features, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information (name, email, and optionally phone number).
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
  • Create a strong password and keep it confidential.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Not share your password or account with any third party.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
  • Ensure that you log out of your account at the end of each session when using shared devices.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide inaccurate information, are used for fraudulent or illegal purposes, or violate these Terms.

2.3 Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole judgment, to be harmful to Coastal Standards, other users, or third parties.

3. Orders and Pricing

3.1 Placing Orders

Orders may be placed through the Site using our online tools (gang sheet builder, DTF Singles builder, apparel builder, quick-order forms) or by contacting us directly. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the products and services specified in your order.

3.2 Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by Coastal Standards. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Pricing or product description errors.
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.
  • Inability to verify payment or shipping information.
  • Artwork that violates our content policies (see Section 7).
  • Product or service unavailability.

If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

3.3 Pricing

Prices for products and services are displayed on the Site and are subject to change without notice. The price charged for your order will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed and accepted.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and do not include applicable taxes, shipping, or handling charges unless otherwise stated. Taxes and shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We strive to display accurate pricing, but errors may occur. If a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders placed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed or payment has been processed.

3.4 Custom and Negotiated Pricing

Government agencies, wholesale buyers, print brokers, and qualifying bulk purchasers may be eligible for negotiated pricing tiers, volume discounts, and recurring agreement terms. Such pricing is governed by separate written or electronic agreements and supersedes standard Site pricing where applicable.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Square, Inc., our third-party payment processor. By placing an order, you agree to Square's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at https://squareup.com/legal.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and digital wallets as supported by Square. For certain customers (such as government agencies and approved wholesale accounts), we may accept alternative payment methods including purchase orders, checks, or ACH transfers, subject to prior written agreement.

4.3 Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of order placement unless alternative terms have been agreed upon in writing. For orders with negotiated payment terms (e.g., net-30 invoicing for government contracts), payment is due according to the terms specified in the applicable agreement.

4.4 Failed Payments

If payment for your order is declined or cannot be processed, we will notify you and your order will not be processed until valid payment is provided. We are not responsible for delays resulting from payment issues.

4.5 Discounts and Promotional Codes

Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to the specific terms stated with each offer and may be subject to expiration dates, minimum purchase requirements, usage limits, or product exclusions. Only one discount code may be applied per order unless otherwise stated. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to previously placed orders.

5. Mockup Approval Process

5.1 Mockup Creation

For custom apparel, screen printing, embroidery, and other decorated products, we will create a digital mockup or proof of your design on the selected product. This mockup is for approval purposes and may vary slightly from the final product due to differences in screen calibration, material characteristics, and production processes.

5.2 Customer Approval Required

Production will not begin until you have reviewed and approved the mockup through our approval workflow. By approving a mockup, you confirm that:

  • The design, colors, placement, sizing, spelling, and all other details are correct and as you intend.
  • You accept any inherent variations between the digital proof and the final physical product.
  • You understand that changes requested after approval may incur additional fees and delay production.

5.3 Approval Deadline

If you do not respond to a mockup approval request within 14 calendar days, we will attempt to contact you via email. If no response is received within 30 calendar days, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund minus any non-refundable design or digitizing fees incurred.

5.4 Revisions

We include a reasonable number of revision rounds in our standard service. Excessive revision requests or complete redesigns may incur additional design fees at our current hourly or flat rate, which will be communicated to you before additional work is performed.

6. Production, Shipping, and Delivery

6.1 Production Time

Typical production turnaround is 2โ€“5 business days after mockup approval and payment confirmation, depending on the product type, order volume, and current production queue. Rush production may be available for an additional fee โ€” contact us for availability.

Production times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.

6.2 Shipping

We ship orders via UPS and other reputable carriers. Shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout. Free UPS Ground shipping is available on orders over $100 to the continental United States.

6.3 Delivery Time

Delivery time is in addition to production time and varies based on the shipping method selected and your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, natural disasters, or other events outside our reasonable control.

6.4 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for products purchased from Coastal Standards passes to you upon our delivery of the products to the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages after they have been delivered to the carrier. If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.

6.5 Local Pickup

Local pickup is available at no charge. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pickup. Orders not picked up within 30 days of notification may be subject to storage fees or cancellation at our discretion.

6.6 Shipping Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply for re-delivery or address corrections.

7. Artwork and Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Artwork

You retain all ownership rights in the artwork, designs, logos, images, and other content you upload or provide to us ("Customer Content"). By submitting Customer Content, you grant Coastal Standards a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify the Customer Content solely as necessary to:

  • Produce your ordered products.
  • Create mockups and proofs for your review.
  • Store the Customer Content for re-order convenience and record-keeping purposes.

This license terminates when your order is complete and any applicable retention periods expire, except that we may retain archival copies as required by law or for business record-keeping.

7.2 Your Representations

By submitting Customer Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the Customer Content or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize us to use the Customer Content as described in these Terms.
  • The Customer Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
  • The Customer Content does not contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

7.3 Indemnification for Customer Content

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coastal Standards, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Any claim that your Customer Content infringes a third party's intellectual property or other rights.
  • Your breach of the representations and warranties in Section 7.2.
  • Any claim related to the content, subject matter, or nature of your Customer Content.

7.4 Our Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos, tools (including the gang sheet builder, DTF Singles uploader, and apparel builder), and all other content (excluding Customer Content), is owned by or licensed to Coastal Standards and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any portion of the Site or our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

The name "Coastal Standards" and our logos are trademarks of Coastal Standards. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

7.5 Prohibited Content

You may not submit Customer Content or use the Services in connection with content that:

  • Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or libelous.
  • Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
  • Promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, or illegal activity.
  • Infringes or violates any third party's rights.
  • Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

We reserve the right to refuse to print or produce any Customer Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates this section or is otherwise objectionable.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Quality Guarantee

8.1 Our Quality Commitment

We are committed to delivering high-quality products. If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, printing error caused by us, or that otherwise does not conform to your approved mockup, please contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery.

8.2 Returns and Refunds

Custom Products: Due to the custom nature of most of our products (items produced with your specific artwork, design, size, and color selections), custom products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless the product is defective or does not conform to the approved mockup due to our error.

Blank Apparel: Unworn, unwashed blank apparel in its original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price (excluding shipping), subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.

Defective or Non-Conforming Products: If you receive a defective or non-conforming product, we will, at our option:

  • Reprint or reproduce the product at no additional charge.
  • Issue a refund for the affected items.
  • Issue a credit toward a future order.

We may require photographic evidence of the defect or non-conformity, and we may request that you return the affected products to us at our expense.

8.3 Exclusions

Our quality guarantee does not cover:

  • Errors that were present in the approved mockup and approved by you.
  • Color variations within industry-standard tolerances.
  • Slight variations in print placement, size, or alignment within standard production tolerances.
  • Damage caused by improper washing, drying, care, or handling after delivery.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Products that were produced according to the approved mockup but where you have changed your mind about the design or product choice.

8.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.

9. Government and Wholesale Customers

9.1 Separate Agreements

Government agencies, wholesale buyers, and print brokers may be subject to separate written agreements, contracts, or procurement documents. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a separately executed agreement, the separately executed agreement shall control.

9.2 Government Procurement

For government customers, Coastal Standards complies with applicable federal, state, and local procurement regulations. Our mockup approval workflow is designed to provide auditable documentation suitable for government procurement requirements.

9.3 Wholesale Pricing

Wholesale pricing tiers, minimum order quantities, recurring agreement terms, and payment terms for qualified wholesale customers are governed by separate agreements and may differ from standard Site pricing.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COASTAL STANDARDS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any defects or errors will be corrected.

10.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COASTAL STANDARDS, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or business interruption, arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, the Services, or any products purchased, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.3 Cap on Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COASTAL STANDARDS' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, THE SERVICES, OR ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COASTAL STANDARDS FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10.4 Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain types of damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coastal Standards, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Site and Services.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Your Customer Content (as further described in Section 7.3).
  • Any fraudulent, illegal, or negligent conduct by you in connection with the Site or Services.

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.

12. Third-Party Services

The Site may integrate with or link to third-party services, including Square (payment processing), shipping carriers (UPS), and analytics providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

13. Site Availability and Modifications

13.1 Site Availability

We strive to keep the Site available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Site for maintenance, upgrades, security, or other operational reasons without prior notice.

13.2 Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or change any aspect of the Services, including pricing, product offerings, features, and tools, at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site and Services, without prior notice or liability, if:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms.
  • We determine, in our sole discretion, that your conduct is harmful to Coastal Standards, other users, or third parties.
  • We are required to do so by law.
  • We cease offering the Services.

Upon termination, your right to use the Site and Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 7, 8, 10, 11, and 15) shall survive.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15.3 Venue

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

15.4 Waiver of Class Actions

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separately executed agreements between you and Coastal Standards, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coastal Standards regarding the Site and Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to achieve the intended purpose to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Coastal Standards.
