How to properly press DTF transfers for maximum durability and vibrant results.

Equipment You Need

Heat press (clamshell or swing-away, 15"×15" or larger) · Teflon sheet or parchment paper · Heat-resistant tape · Lint roller · Timer

Temperature & Time

320°F (160°C) for 15 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Always pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1) Pre-press garment 3-5 sec · 2) Position transfer face-up · 3) Cover with Teflon sheet · 4) Press at 320°F for 15 sec · 5) Remove Teflon sheet · 6) Cold peel: let cool 10-15 seconds, then peel film slowly · 7) Cover with parchment · 8) Post-press 5-10 sec for final cure

By Fabric Type

Cotton: 320°F / 15 sec · Polyester: 300°F / 12 sec (lower temp prevents scorching) · Blends: 310°F / 15 sec · Hard surfaces (UV-DTF): Room temp application, no heat needed
